The curriculum focus is outcomes-based and follows the protocol and assessment requirements based on the National Curriculum as defined by the Department of Education. The emphasis is on skills, values and attitudes. The National Curriculum Statement is divided into the General Education and Training (GET) band from Grade R - 9 and the Further Education and Training (FET) band from Grade 10 - 12. The Exit Examination written in Grade 12 is the National Senior Certificate (NSC).
