How to Proceed/Application Process
If you would like to enrol your daughter at Herschel, you will need to fill out an
Application Form. This can be done by either downloading one from the Herschel
website, or obtaining one from the Admissions Secretary by visiting the school, via
post or fax.
The completed Application Form, together with the required non-refundable registration fee, should then be handed in at or mailed to the school. Please note - filling in the Application Form does not automatically imply your daughter's acceptance.
Entry into Pre-Nursery to Grade 7
Your Application Form and registration fee are acknowledged and your daughter's name will be put on the appropriate grade list. Should the School offer her a place and you accept, you will be required to complete an Acceptance of Place Form and pay the contingency fee.
You will be contacted and arrangements will be made for your daughter's assessment appropriate to the proposed grade and term she is currently in.
Entry into Grade 8
Your Application Form and registration fee are acknowledged and your daughter's name will be put on the appropriate grade list.
At the beginning of her Grade 7 year you will be contacted by the Admission Secretary with details of the following:
Should the School offer your daughter a place and you accept, you will be required to complete an Acceptance of Place Form and pay the contingency fee.
Entry into Grades 9 to 11
If your daughter wishes to enter Herschel in any of these grades then she will write an Entrance Assessment as and when this is necessary. There is usually an appointment to see the Head before the Entrance Assessment is written.
Should the School offer your daughter a place and you accept, you will be required to complete an Acceptance of Place Form and pay the contingency fee.

- Date of Open Evening
- Date and requirements of the Entrance Assessments (compulsory)
