All girls wishing to enter Herschel Girls' Senior School must write an Entrance
Assessment, which will test their ability in English and Mathematics. The assessment
should be written at the school but, should this not be practical, arrangements can be
made with her present school to write it there.

Herschel Academic Scholarships for Grade 8
- To be considered for the Academic Scholarships all applicants must have written the Grade 8 Entrance Assessment.
- The Academic Scholarships, ranging in value from 20% to 100% of the tuition fees per annum, are then awarded for the pupils' careers up to Grade 12, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Although they are awarded primarily on academic performance, qualities such as character, leadership potential, cultural and sporting ability are taken into consideration.
