C. V. Starr Foundation Scholarships for Grade 8
- These scholarships are available to pupils from previously disadvantaged groups who have achieved a high academic standard and where there is financial need.
- These scholarships are available to Herschel through the intercession of Ernest Stempel and Brendalyn Tyers Stempel, and were established by the late C. V. Starr, founder of the worldwide insurance organisation known as AIG (American International Group), of which Mr. Stempel was the Vice-chairman until his retirement.
