The Bouncing Bunnies and Busy Bees visited Wynberg Fire Station last week.  Each little girl had a chance to hold a fire hose and spray water.  As part of the Tour the girls had an opportunity to see where the firemen slept when they were on duty and the kitchen where they cooked. Watching a fireman slide down the fireman's pole was a thrilling experience, with Miss Mitchell standing guard to ensure no Nursery girls followed suit!  The girls also learnt how to STOP, DROP and ROLL in the event of a fire and memorised the emergency number 107.  It was a lovely outing which the Nursery girls thoroughly enjoyed.
