On Tuesday morning, two men from Eco-Solutions clambered up the tall plane tree in front of the School, and installed the Owl Box.  Now we must sit and wait for a spotted eagle owl to take up residence.  The experts assure us that urban owls are recognising owl boxes as safe nesting places, especially those owls that have been fledged in an owl box, been booted out and are now seeking territory of their own. So it should not be too long before an owl moves in!

The owl project has been the main Eco-Kids Club project for 2008 and they raised the money for this installation last term.
