The Grade 6 parents were treated to a theatrical evening on Wednesday. The classes presented the Drama plays that they been preparing during lessons.  All girls were involved on stage throughout the plays and impressed with their creative role playing.

Grade 6A started the evening with Fancy That. Tessa Chittenden, as Gloria the hostess of the Fancy party, was excellent in her portrayal of a renowned socialite. The Aliens, Victoria Atkins, Amy Anderson and Tamara Haller were beautifully costumed and whose wry comments caused much amusement.  The party-goers were acted by the rest of the class and the girls performed with great enthusiasm.

Grade 6al presented Fiesta in Triesta - set in Mexico.  The girls' accents were excellent and roles of Pascal (Sarah-Jane Hodgson), Manuel (Lynn Kareithi), Carlos (Phila Marubelela), Jolanda (Lizzie Perrot) and Chiquita (Donna Murray) were played with gusto. Colourful, vibrant dancing and singing was performed by the whole. They even managed to avoid the havoc created by the bull (Lea Chisholm) and learn a valuable lesson.  

A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all.
