Readathon got off to a screamingly funny start - Mrs Heidmann was ‘kidnapped' by Thing 1 and Thing 2 (aka Mrs Moritz and Ms Beeton) and brought to Assembly in the Cat in the Hat's "clean-up car".  After she had scolded these two mischievous things, the whole school sang a song to cheer them up - "Oh the things you can think".  After an illustrated talk on Dr Seuss's life, the School sang a special Happy Birthday song to Dr Seuss whose birthday is celebrated in the month of march.
