Prep School Outreach Programme - Shelter Box

As part of the Prep School Outreach programme for this term, Herschel has teamed up with Bishops and The Grove in a joint venture to support the Rotary Club, by purchasing a "SHELTER BOX".  This is to be shipped to Japan. A video showing the shelter box and explaining how wonderful it is in assisting inhabitants all around the world who have been hit by natural disasters, followed. The shelter box is a box containing all essential items that victims would need. Items include a 10 man tent, blankets, pots, pans, medical supplies, as well as other essential items. It was explained to the girls that civvies day on Friday would be in aid of the Japanese Tsunami victims. The girls are asked to wear white and red to school, the colours of the Japanese flag.
