Lara Dendy Young is as much at home in the swimming pool as next to it. She has been included in the South African waterpolo team to take part in the Under 18 Tri-Nations tournament in Auckland, New Zeeland in December 2010. Lara’s older sister, Jemma, who was a pupil at Herschel Girls School too, also plays waterpolo for South Africa.
