Sixteen Grade 7 girls from 10 junior schools across the Peninsula were awarded scholarships to attend Herschel Girls School from next year.  The girls and their parents attended a congratulatory tea at the school on Monday.  Seen here with the Head of Herschel, Bruce Probyn, are , in front:  Jessica Scott (Springfield Convent), Jean Marr (Herschel Preparatory), Jodie Adams(Kirstenhof Primary), Hayley Preen(Kronendal Primary) and Zia Schwartz (Grove Primary).  In the middle are Uliana Alekseev (Kirstenhof Primary), Rebecca Viuff (Herschel Preparatory), Tisean Buis (Thornton Primary), Kirstin Brookes (Greenfields Primary)  and Abulele Dlova from Micklefield.  In the back row are Victoria Sharples (Rustenburg Girls), Emma Leslie(Grove Primary) and Alisa and Alison Malindi (Groote Schuur Primary).  Jessica Gleeson from Herschel Preparatory and Eva da Costa from Sun Valley Primary could not attend the tea.
