At the St. Mary's Hockey Festival, held at St. Mary's School in Johannesburg, Rhoni Gerike was selected as the coaches’ Player of the Tournament out of 28 girls’ hockey teams from around South Africa that participated in the tournament.  Rhoni, who is in Grade 12 at Herschel Girls School, attended Kenridge Primary School.
