Curriculum - Intermedate & Senior Phase
The Intermediate and Senior Phases introduce the eight Learning
Areas of the National Curriculum. The focus of teaching is outcomes-based
and emphasis is placed on skills, values and attitudes. This integrated
curriculum is of particular relevance to the pupils as all subjects
incorporate a multi-media approach and are facilitated by the extensive
range of equipment available in each classroom. Computer skills form an integral part of the lessons and the link between the
computer centre and the library greatly enhances the girls ability to
utilise both books and electronic resources. Mathematics and Natural Sciences
are of increasing importance in the modern world and emphasis is placed on
extending and enriching knowledge in these subjects. A well-equipped Science
laboratory enables our pupils to learn in an interactive and practical
environment.
