A WEEK OF FAREWELLS FOR THE CLASS OF 2017!

On Tuesday, 25 of our Matric girls, who have shared a 12-year Herschel journey from Grade 1, attended a special assembly at our Prep School. They received beautiful roses and cards from our Grade 1 girls, with Prep Head, Mrs Heidmann, speaking fondly of her memories of these girls and praising them for the confident young women they have become!

This was followed by the prestigious annual Prize Giving Ceremony on Wednesday evening, where we took pleasure in recognizing and celebrating our girls for their exceptional hard work and commitment.

Finally, staff, learners and parents bid farewell to the Matric Class of 2017 at a moving Valedictory Ceremony held yesterday, with scarcely a dry eye in the house!

We wish our 2017 Matrics all the best as they prepare for their final exams!

School Song

We are assembled here in love,
We are united, we care for one another.
The greatest lesson of all is the one
That teaches us to live together, together.

Refrain:
Everyone’s a spark and in the night
Together we make a light, a fire burning bright
Ad Dei Gloriam; Inkosi mayibongwe:
To the glory of our God: this is what we believe.

In times of trouble we support
Our fellows; we are taught to be there for our friends.
And all around us, there will be
That special unity, that binds us all together.

If we come back after many years,
We will think fondly of the things that we remember,
And the friends that we made then,
These will be friends forever, forever.
