Congratulations to our field hockey players Angie Welham, India Hardie, Kayla De Waal (all Grade 12) and past pupil Ammaarah Hendricks (2017) who were part of the South African 5-a-side girls hockey team who won gold at the African Youth Games in Algeria as part of the Youth Olympics Qualifiers. They beat Namibia in the final, and now await confirmation for eligibility to participate at the Youth Olympic Games taking place in Buenos Aires in October. Angie was the top goal scorer at the tournament with 14 goals.
