NINE HERSCHEL GIRLS COMPETE AT SOUTH AFRICAN SENIOR GRAND PRIX GALA

This past weekend nine Herschel swimmers competed at the South African Senior Grand Prix in Stellenbosch. The gala was an open age group gala and all the girls swam against the very best of the country. The South African Commonwealth team participated in the gala as well, so competition was tough amongst all the swimmers!

Congratulations to the following girls on their achievements:

Hannah Cromhout (Grade 8): swam four individual events 
Hannah Pearce (Grade 9): swam six individual events, made three Finals with one Bronze medal
Michaela de Villiers (Grade 9): swam seven individual events, made two Finals
Liousa Siebel (Grade 9): swam two individual events
Olivia Scott (Grade 10): swam eight individual events
Lucy Miszewski (Grade 10): swam seven individual events, made one Final
Hanim Abrahams (Grade 10): swam five individual events, made five Finals with one Gold and two Silver medals
Olivia Nel (Grade 10): swam five individual events, made 5 Finals with one Silver and two Bronze medals
Jeanri Buys (Grade 12): swam five individual events, made five Finals
