SENIOR SCHOOL MUSIC DEPARTMENT DELIVERS JAM-PACKED LINE-UP FOR TERM 2!

The Senior School has a number of exciting music events lined up for Term 2! Diarise the dates below and join us for some music magic!

MUSIC STAFF CONCERT:
Wednesday 25 April, 19:00 in the Mary Jagger Hall.
The Herschel music staff will take a break from teaching, take to the stage and perform music ranging from classical to contemporary! Entrance is free and everyone is welcome.

FUSION:
Thursday 3 May, 18:30 at the Groote Kerk.
Our contemporary a cappella group, Fusion, will be joining the St Cyprian’s Music Department at the Groote Kerk, 43 Adderley Street, Cape Town for FIRST THURSDAYS. They will be performing during the 18:30-21:00 slot (the exact time will be confirmed asap). Entrance is free.

Furthermore, Fusion will be joining Simply Blue for a combined concert on 9 May in the Memorial Theatre at Bishops. This concert which starts at 19:30, is a highlight of both the Herschel and Bishops calendars! Tickets are available from the Bishops School Shop.

LUNCHTIME CONCERT:
Wednesday 9 May, lunchtime in the Mary Jagger Hall
Music students will be performing in a lunchtime concert!

GUITARS UNPLUGGED:
Friday 11 May, 18:30 for 19:00 at Fat Harry’s
The Herschel Guitar Department is once again hosting a fun evening of contemporary music. This year they are taking over Fat Harry’s on 2nd Avenue in Kenilworth. Have a look at their menu on-line for a taste of what is available to eat for supper.

CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT:
Tuesday 15 May, 18:30 in the Mary Jagger Hall
Subject Music students (from Grade 8-12) will be playing their chamber music exam pieces in the Mary Jagger Hall. An exact order of performance will be published by Friday 11 May. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
