This week our Herschel Sports Centre played host to the ‘Herschfield Indoor Hockey Derby’. Six teams from Springfield came to take on the top six teams of Herschel and Herschel were victorious in five of the six matches.

The spirit in the venue was phenomenal, as evident in the photographs below. It most certainly is a unique experience to witness sport matches between these two rival schools. The matches are always keenly contested and no quarter is given but, once off the court, the generosity of spirit between the girls is evident and we will always cherish this healthy and respected rivalry.

Herschel ensured that it continued its present dominance and the senior match was won by our 1st Team with three goals to nil!
